Jason Martens

I am the second generation at Martens Heating & Cooling. Growing up on job sites with my father instilled in me a deep understanding of the industry from a young age. He taught me the value of integrity and the importance of getting things right the first time. I believe honesty is the cornerstone of success in business, and that respect is earned through accountability and follow-through. In my role, I focus on estimating, project planning, customer meetings, overflow service, and sheet metal fabrication. Outside of work, I cherish moments with my amazing wife and our three boys, whether we’re gathered around a campfire or enjoying time on the lake.

Jon Kautzer
Office Manager

Jon Kautzer

I have been involved in business management since graduating from college. In 2012, I joined the family business, Martens Heating & Cooling, as the Office Manager. Though I had no background in HVAC, I have acquired a broad range of knowledge across the industry and continue to expand my expertise every day. As the General Manager, I oversee a variety of operations, with a focus on driving business growth and operational efficiency. I engage with customers in many ways including scheduling appointments, preparing estimates and bids, and discussing recommendations on various products and services. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and children.

Jeremiah Ryf

I grew up in the restaurant and bar business, where I enjoyed interacting with people, but my real passion was always in working on mechanical things and understanding how they operate. This curiosity led me to explore a career in HVAC, which has been the perfect combination of customer interaction and hands-on mechanical work. Joining this field has been a fantastic career move, offering endless opportunities to meet great people and learn new skills. I genuinely enjoy staying updated on the equipment and products we offer, as it allows me to share valuable insights with our customers, helping them make informed choices for their home comfort needs. My goal is to ensure that every job we complete leaves our customers confident in Martens Heating & Cooling’s dedication to their comfort. We have an amazing team here at Martens, and HVAC truly sparks my interest. I’ve been with Martens Heating & Cooling for seven years, bringing with me a decade of experience from Oshkosh Truck. Outside of work, I’m passionate about outdoor adventures—whether it’s fishing, hunting, UTV riding, or boating, I’m always up for an exciting day outdoors.

With nearly two decades of experience, I’m committed to providing our customers with top-quality service and expertise. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and tackling various projects around the house.

Wyatt Smith

With a lifelong passion for fixing things, I joined Martens Heating and Cooling after high school, eager to learn the HVAC trade. Although I started with no experience, my drive to master the field has allowed me to gain significant expertise over the years, and I continue to grow every day. As an Installation and Service Technician, my day can range from new construction projects to installing and repairing HVAC equipment. Outside of work, I enjoy tackling personal projects and exploring new places with my significant other.

I’ve been part of the HVAC industry since the late 1990s, bringing extensive experience across nearly every aspect of the field. I thrive on the challenge of turning complex, seemingly impossible jobs into successful projects. Much of my work involves leading large-scale projects, ensuring every detail meets our high standards. Outside of work, I enjoy exploring the great outdoors with my family.

Ryan Michael

I began my career in telecommunications, spending 16 years in the field before transitioning to HVAC in 2018. Eager to learn a new trade and cut back on travel, I immersed myself in HVAC and have been dedicated to growing my expertise ever since. I take pride in solving customer challenges and appreciate working for a small company that values employee input over profit margins. In the HVAC field, I’ve gained experience across various areas, but my strengths and passion lie in service and customer relations. There’s nothing more fulfilling than knowing I’ve delivered the best possible outcome for a customer. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing golf, traveling, and savoring the occasional glass of bourbon.

Alex Reinke

I joined Martens Heating & Cooling in 2022, bringing with me two years of experience from another HVAC contractor. I have a passion for all aspects of heating and cooling, with a particular focus on air conditioners and heat pumps. I take pride in my attention to detail and strive for excellence in every job. I also appreciate the opportunity to connect with customers, as building strong relationships is important to me. Outside of work, I treasure spending quality time with my family and being outdoors.
